Heavy Truck Driver (Trailer)

As a Heavy Truck Driver (Trailer), you will be responsible for safely transporting goods using heavy trucks and trailers. You will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to road safety regulations and company procedures. You will work closely with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and clients to maintain smooth supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy trucks and trailers to transport goods safely and efficiently

• Load and unload cargo in coordination with warehouse and logistics teams

• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness

• Follow all traffic and safety regulations during transportation

• Plan and follow routes to meet delivery schedules

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle maintenance records

• Report any accidents, damages, or delays promptly

• Assist with warehouse operations if required

• Communicate with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients effectively

Requirements

• Valid heavy truck/trailer driving license (Class CE or equivalent)

• Proven experience as a heavy truck or trailer driver

• Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations

• Ability to operate trucks under various weather and road conditions

• Physical stamina and ability to handle loading/unloading tasks

• Strong attention to detail and reliability

• Good communication and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GPS and route planning

• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance

• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes

• Clean driving record and no history of accidents
